About HelpLoveSupport
We publish the people who have actually lived it.
HelpLoveSupport is the DreamEngine Publishing imprint for books on the practices, experiences and ideas that help human beings live and flourish.
Help. Love. Support.
Those three words are the whole idea. There are people who have genuinely learned how to live better, through what they have survived, practised, or spent a working life studying, and no easy way to make that knowledge last. A social media post reaches whoever the algorithm shows it to today and is gone by morning. A book reaches every reader who ever searches for what its author knows, for as long as it exists.
We publish books that do that. Not because we spotted a market, but because we believe the people who have genuinely been through something, or genuinely mastered something, deserve a proper publisher behind them, not a platform that takes their content and forgets it by morning.
Built by someone who has been in the rooms where this knowledge lives.
Edward J Marsh, founder of HelpLoveSupport and DreamEngine Publishing, spent fourteen years living in Japan and fifteen years living in Goa, India, one of the world's centres for healing, contemplative practice and alternative living. He has spent significant time in Koh Phangan, Thailand, and has lived and travelled across Australia, the United States and many other countries.
That is not market research. It is thirty five years of meeting the actual gurus, healers, teachers and everyday people who quietly worked out better ways to live, alongside plenty of people selling a polished version of the same thing. Edward knows the difference, and that editorial judgement, not a submissions algorithm, is what decides what HelpLoveSupport publishes.
Two kinds of author. The same standard.
We publish practitioners: yoga teachers, breathwork facilitators, sports psychologists, somatic therapists, the people with twenty years inside a lineage or a method who want their knowledge to reach further than the people already in the room with them.
And we publish people writing from inside an experience: the parent raising a neurodivergent child, the person who survived something many others are surviving right now, the person who found their way through and wants to hand that path to someone still looking for it.
Neither group is writing for a following. They are writing because they have something real to give, and a following is not where real things last.
Books on the practices, experiences and ideas that help human beings flourish.
Yoga and meditation, breathwork and somatics, plant medicine approached with the care it deserves, neurodiversity and autism written from lived experience, sports psychology and performance, the female journey, the male experience, and the relational dynamics that shape how people connect. If your subject is not on that list and you believe it belongs, tell us about it.
We do not publish quick fixes, ancient secrets or transformation promises. We publish the real picture: honest, rigorous, and written by someone who has actually done the work.
Part of DreamEngine, built for a different reader.
HelpLoveSupport is the non-fiction, wellbeing and parenting imprint of DreamEngine Publishing, a selective independent UK publisher founded in 2020 by Edward J Marsh and Dr David Baboulene. DreamEngine's fiction authors are usually writing towards legacy, something built to last and be remembered. HelpLoveSupport's authors are usually writing towards impact, something meant to start, reach someone, and change what happens next.
Different reasons to write a book, the same publisher standing behind both. We review manuscripts personally, we work directly with our authors throughout, and we never treat publishing as a service bought off a shelf.
In the spirit of Compendium Books
Between 1968 and 2000, Compendium Books in Camden was one of London's great independent bookshops, founded by Diana Gravill and Nicholas Rochford. Its mind, body and spirit section was, by most accounts, the part that kept the shop going. Edward spent time there, and missed it when it closed, the way you miss a place that understood what you were looking for before you did.
The HelpLoveSupport Bookshop is built in that spirit. A shelf of books we have actually read, chosen the way Diana and Nicholas chose them, by hand, because a book earned its place, not because an algorithm decided you might buy it. Every book on the shelf links to Amazon and we earn a small commission, but the point was never the transaction. The point is the one Compendium understood: that the right book, put in front of the right person by someone who has actually read it, still matters.
For the voices with the least means to be heard.
Publishing a book properly costs money, and the people with the most necessary things to say are sometimes the people with the fewest resources to say them. The HelpLoveSupport Fund for Authors exists to change that: a commitment to bring genuinely important work into print that would otherwise never reach the people who need it. It does not guarantee publication and the process takes time, but if you have something real to say and no means to publish it, tell us about it.
If you have something real to say, this is where it belongs.
Tell us what you know, what you have lived through, and who needs to hear it. We read every submission personally. You do not need a finished manuscript, you need a real idea and the commitment to see it through.
If you have a book that belongs in the world, we want to hear from you
Submit what you have for an honest review. This can be anything from a finished manuscript to the outline of your idea. We respond within fourteen working days. If it is a fit, you speak directly with Edward J Marsh.
