Where it began
Years ago there was a bookshop in Camden called Compendium, run by Diana Gravill and Nicholas Rochford. You could walk in with almost any question about life and someone behind the counter would already know which book answered it, not because an algorithm had matched you to a product, but because a person had read it and knew the exact book for you.
It closed in 2000. We've missed it ever since.
HelpLoveSupport is our answer to that loss. We publish and promote the books that deserve that kind of attention, and in our Bookshop you'll find shelves of them, chosen the way Compendium chose, not the way a search engine does.

Every book we publish is honest and real. We do not sensationalise. We demystify.
Finding the right book
The answer to the question you're carrying is in a book somewhere. Most of the time, finding it is the hard part. Search engines return the loudest results, not the truest ones, and a shelf full of confident-sounding titles doesn't tell you which one was written by someone who actually knows.
As a non-fiction publisher built on lived experience rather than algorithms, our job is to help you find it, whether the book carries our imprint or simply belongs on the same shelf.
Non-Fiction Book Distribution
Find the book that you are looking for.
Written from experience. Our authors bring their whole selves. The knowledge in these pages has been lived, not merely researched.
What we Publish
The subjects we publish, and the ones we're growing into.
Three areas anchor what we've published so far: parenting and neurodiversity, sports psychology, and practical self-help. We're building toward two more, personal development and mind-body-spirit, working with practitioners who've spent years doing the work before putting it on the page.
Wellbeing and Self-Help
Practical, honest guidance for the difficult chapters of an ordinary life.
Parenting and Family
Neuro-affirming, lived-experience guidance for parents raising children the world doesn't always understand
Sports and Performance Psychology
Mental training for athletes and performers, used by professionals at the highest level.
Personal Development
Practical wisdom for building a life that actually works, from people who've done the building.
Mind-Body-Spirit
Yoga, energy work and embodied practice, written by practitioners with the years behind them to back it up.
Have Something to Say?
If your experience or expertise belongs on this list, we want to hear about it. Submit your manuscript for review.
Which of these is you?
The lived-experience author
You have been through something. A diagnosis, a challenge, a period of your life that changed you permanently. You came out the other side knowing things that other people in the same situation desperately need to hear.
You are not a professional writer. You are not an academic. But you have knowledge that matters, earned in a way that cannot be studied or faked. A book is the right way to share it. HelpLoveSupport is the right publisher.
The dedicated practitioner or expert
You have spent years building expertise, clinical, practical, or professional. You have worked with clients, patients, athletes, or students. You know what works and why.
A book extends your reach beyond everyone you can personally help. It gives your expertise a permanent form and a professional platform. HelpLoveSupport publishes practitioners whose work deserves to be read by more people than any practice or clinic can hold.
If you teach, heal or guide for a living
Maybe you're a yoga teacher, an energy worker, a sound healer, or you hold space for people in some way that doesn't fit neatly into a job title. You've built something real, years of practice, a following, people who trust you. What you haven't built yet is the book that sits alongside it.
We publish this work the same way we publish everything else: honestly, without sensationalising it, and without dumbing it down for people who already know what they're doing. If your practice has taught you something worth putting on paper, we want to hear from it, wherever you're teaching it from.
What makes HelpLoveSupport different
A publisher, not a service provider: We review manuscripts and we accept authors. If we publish your book, it carries the HelpLoveSupport imprint because we have chosen it. That distinction matters to your readers.
Direct access to your publisher: Every HelpLoveSupport author works directly with Edward J Marsh throughout the publishing process. Direct conversation, honest feedback, and personal commitment to your work and its audience.
Part of DreamEngine Publishing: HelpLoveSupport is an imprint of DreamEngine Publishing. Our editorial standards, production quality, and author relationships are the same across both imprints.
Built for community: HelpLoveSupport publishes books for people who are looking for others who understand their experience. We think about the community your book creates, not just the copies it sells.

While you're here, visit the Bookshop
Alongside publishing, we're building bookshelves and filling them with books we'd want own, some published by HelpLoveSupport, many not. Chosen the way a good, independent bookshop chooses books, not the way an algorithm does.
We are still building our bookshelves, so please excuse the mess.
